Recent Paintings
I am a part of the Visionary Muse Collective, a group of women artists from around the world. Every year we do a series of portraits of each other and then exhibit the work all together. This is a portrait of the artist, Veronika Rose. She is a veteran and leads visionary veteran's retreats to help those suffering from PTSD to find healing and wholeness. She is a practitioner of the Moon Dance and it is with this healing lunar energy she is imbued with in this painting. I painted her dress and wings reminiscent of an angel because of the tireless work she does with those who gave their all for a cause and now need serious soul healing to continue on with their lives.
