Fashion Design > Wedding, Formal and Art to Wear Dresses

This dress is made from a designer 2 piece linen beach dress. I added the many many yards of tulle, all gathered into layers or made into gathered streamers. Hours and hours of minute free-form lace crocheting later, i layered and inter-weaved that with the tulle to create the complex and delicate details that combine for the overall affect of the dress. I used vintage doilies all over the dress as well and I took apart and reassembled the gathered top part to wrap it fully in the tulle. The top was redone as a corset tie in the back and the free-form crochet front piece is accented by tulle streamers and another vintage doily. This dress has been featured in City Newspapers, multi-state circulated Magazines, numerous websites and has been featured in a number of fashion shows. Cleaned after each appearance, it has been kept in pristine condition.

This is a one of a kind piece utilizing many materials and methods for its creation. It fits comfortably on either a size 4 or 6. For anyone not wanting to bare their midriff (as i would certainly be!) you can always find a matching tank, tube top, camisole to wear underneath. The skirt is 39 inches from top to bottom hem. The dress is very light and airy on despite all of the layers of material.

I can make a veil that matches the dress should you want one. Please specify as it will be extra and i will be more than happy to make it per your specifications.
